With a TTouch background as well as obedience, Katie offers training and behavior modification that is humane and positive, encouraging the full potential of he dog.
Training/TTouch sessions are one-on-one with the owner and their pet. Sessions typically last 60 minutes. Actual session time depends on the dog.
The client will learn be basics of teaching obedience as well as what TTouch is, how it works and how it applies to their dog. Client will learn 2-4 TTouches specific to their dog's needs; how to use TTouch equipment with their dog (wraps, harness, leash), most of which can be done with the owner's own equipment, if comfortable and effective for the dog. Client and dog will learn groundwork and why it's useful.
It is typical for the dog to experience noticeable change the first few weeks. Positive influence and change is cumulative with the application of TTouch. Follow-up sessions are strongly recommended to re-evaluate the animal and adjust the dogs training and TTouch regiment accordingly.
The owner goes home with the tools literally in their hands to continue working with and helping their pet improve and reach their full potential.

Workshops
Workshops are 1/2 day (4 hours with breaks)
Minimum Participants: 5 handlers with one pet each.
Maximum Participants: 10 handlers with one pet each.
Participants learn the philosophy and basics of TTouch and how to do the TTouches on each other and their animals. Philosophy, and use of the ground equipment will be explored as well as TTouch leash handling for common issues.
TTouch Workshops at Hosting Facility:
$80 per participant with pet.
$40 per participant without a pet.
TTouch Workshops at East Tennessee TTouch:
$60 per participant with pet.
$30 per participant without a pet.
Presentations
For clubs, groups, veterinary practices, boarding/grooming facilities, shelters
A brief one-hour presentation within a 30 mile radius of East Tennessee TTouch is free!
Presentations take place at the meeting place or business.
For clubs and pet based groups, Katie will give an introduction to TTouch and demonstrate some of the techniques and applications that are used in the practice. One live animal volunteer is welcomed, but not essential to the presentation.
For pet based service businesses Katie will give a brief introduction to TTouch and teach a couple basic elements that staff will find useful in their practice.
Veterinary/Pet Businesses

Why email, you ask? It's one thing to hear how to do something over the telephone (and hope you remember)....it's another to have it in print right there in front of you to refer to as often as you need to and that is why Katie offers TTouch via email. Nothing gets missed.
You will learn the how and why of what you're doing and how to do it. Because Katie can not physically see and touch your animal to evaluate it, sessions are only available individually.... basically, as you need them.
One session includes a detailed history of the pet completed by the owner and emailed to Katie along with a description of what's going on (with the pet) and the changes that would like to be seen. Katie will reply with a detailed email customized to you and your pets needs, teaching you how to do the TTouches. This includes a follow up.
